Ham is high in protein. Just 60 grams (approximately 3–4 thin slices) provide 11 grams of protein. Furthermore, ham is particularly rich in selenium. Selenium is an essential nutrient that aids DNA construction, and defense from infections.
Rice is a very good carbohydrate that is essential to fuel physical training. Adding to that, it is gluten free, rich with manganese and vitamine B6.
